Funny Friday with the Mayor of Crazy Town and Favorite Things Friday with Mrs. P

Hi World,

I'm linking up to the Mayor of Crazy Town for Funny Friday and with Mrs. P from Quilting in my Pyjamas with one of my most favorite EVER You Tube videos.  This came to me via my good friend, Green Girl, who said in her Subject Line:  OMG This is us!!!!

And she was right.

  1. This is SOOO my husband! I'm surprised he's stuck with me these 21 years!

  2. I still love this and it's still us. I just dragged home a giant bag of discarded books from the library because I am clearly destined to be an artist who crafts wonderful works of inspirational, eco-fabulous art from recycled books. I just need to buy a complete set of bookbinding tools. And some x-acto knives. And maybe a leather apron. Distressed, so it looks medieval.........GG

  3. Hi GG-I can see you doing that. I can lend you the x-acto knives. I still have them from when I was going to be a famous linoleum block carving artist. I thought that I might still use them to become a paper cutting artist, but then I decided to be a t-shirt designer instead so I don't need them after all.

  4. Tell you what. I'll trade you 45 pounds of raw wool, (fiber artist phase), three assorted decks of tarot cards, (psychic phase)and four mismatched chairs and a bag of knobs. (funky repurposed furniture phase.)

  6. Mrs. P. I guess I can't come live with you then even though I miss summer like you would not believe.

GG-do you want my linoleum blocks? And how about the original designs we did 20 years ago for our greeting card company. Yeah, I still have them.

  7. Also, GG, I may have a taker for the wool. Sydney at Seven Generations spins and knits. Maybe she has stuff we need. I could send her my knitting paraphanlia, as well.

  8. Oh, GG, the funky knobs reminds me, I've been wanting to take a glass blowing class.

  11. I was SO totally just thinking of our 80's greeting card endeavor. We crack me up. But you know, I may want to hang on to that wool. I was mulling over taking a fly tying class, and I think they sometimes use wool. And feathers. Chickens have feathers. You're a chicken...and I have chickens...see how this is all coming together....? GG

  14. LOL, so glad you played along! And as funny as it is, my hubby may be even more annoying...he just hoards the crap, with NO intentions of ever using it...I may be more sympathetic if he at least gave it a go at putting it to use, but nope, he just brings junk home & it grows in my garage or basement, eating my square footage that I desperately need for 4 kidlets!

  15. Funny enough to tweet it out, oh..yeah...

  16. Horse photography. That sounds good. Oh, and glass blowing. And stained glass window making. And I may swing by that park and pick up those binoculars. Do you think he left the bird guide book in the case?

  20. Is it just me or is that guy kind of cute? But yeah, hobbies suck the life force out of you. Ahem. Twitter. Does that count as a hobby even if I'm only on 2 min./day?

  21. I'm kind of attracted to this guy and his passion for birds. Is that right?
